Creed, Ramona (Marriage - 24 Dec. 1941)
Announcement has been made of the marriage of Miss Ramona Creed, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Creed, Unity, and Charles Derby, son of Mrs. Louise Derby, Marshfield, which took place December 24 in St. Clements Catholic church in Chicago, with the Rev. Father Rausche officiating. Miss Virginia Allain, Richland Center, and Lafayette Schroeder, Chicago, attended the couple.
The bride wore a sheer ice-blue wool dress, with brown accessories, and a corsage of yellow roses and her attendant was attired in a maroon wool suit, with black accessories, and had a corsage of white pompoms.
Immediately following the wedding breakfast, the couple drove to Unity to spend the holidays. Mrs. Derby is a graduate of the Unity, Wis. High school, with the class of 1935. Mr. Derby is a salesman for the Peterson Furniture company in Chicago, where the couple will live.
