Mrs. W. E. Cook returned Sunday after spending the past month with her sister, Miss Mayme Yahr at Sioux City, Iowa.
Corporal LeRoy Morgan returned to Fort Sheridan, Ill., Saturday after spending ten days with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. W. W. Morgan.
A new truck and snow plow has been allotted to Highway 13 and arrived Friday. Jack Coats will handle the big machine.
Miss Louis Luchterhand returned Sunday to her teaching duties at Chicago Heights, Ill., after spending the past two weeks with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Julius Luchterhand.
Mr. and Mrs. Gerald Scott and son of Baraboo spent the holidays with the former’s mother, Mrs. Alma Scott.
Graham Thayer has accepted a position with a co-operative feed store at Marathon.
Harvey and Paul Regel of Milwaukee visited several days in the town of Hull with their parents, Mr. and Mrs. Ernest Regel.
Miss Delores Westberg of Chicago spent the holidays with her mother, Mrs. Anna Westberg, in the town of Colby, Wis.
Mr. and Mrs. Roscoe Starkey of Amery spent their school vacation with Mrs. Starkey’s parents, Mr. and Mrs. William McNeight.
Rev. and Mrs. Raymond Fleming and family of Viroqua and Rev. and Mrs. Lee Holmes of Melrose visited several days at the George S. Cook home.
