Dalawska, Elizabeth (19 June 1863 - 13 Jan. 1943)

Mrs. Elizabeth Dalawska (nee Unterschitz) passed away at Owen at three p.m. Jan. 13th, at the ago of 80. She had been in ill health for about eight years.

The departed was born in Austria June 19, 1863, and was married there to David Dalawska, she and her family coming to this country in 1911. She had been a resident of Clark County for 23 years.

Mr. and Mrs. Dalawska were the parents of nine children, four of whom have passed away. She is survived by her husband and the following children: David Dalawska, (Kathrina) Mrs. Henry Genetman and (Sophie) Mrs. Peter Schaefer, all of Neillsville; (Josephine) Mrs. Jake Werba, Chicago and (Emily) Mrs. S. Frederico, Chicago. There are also nine grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Two brothers and three sisters preceded her in death.

The funeral services were held at the Jaster Funeral Home at 1:30 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 16, and at two p.m. at St. John’s Lutheran church, the Rev. William A. Baumann officiating. Burial took place in Neillsville, Wis. The pallbearers were: L. Wachholz, William Roehl, William Diercks, Frank Hemp, H. E. Bartell and Carl Radka.
