Schefsick, Amanda (10 July 1917 - 7 Aug. 1942)

Mrs. John Schefsick died at her home in Abbotsford at the age of 62 years Friday morning at 4:30 o’clock after a lingering illness of two years. Funeral services were held Monday afternoon at 1:30 o’clock at the home and at 2:00 o’clock in the Christ Evangelical Lutheran church, Rev. J. Brandt officiating, and burial was made in the Dorchester cemetery.

Mrs. Schefsick, nee Amanda Dutevasser, was born in Mequon, Wis., and was married on July 10, 1917, in Eau Claire to John Schefsick who survives her. She moved to Abbotsford from the town of Holton two and one-half years ago. She was a member of the Christ Evangelical Lutheran church and Lutheran Ladies Aid Society.

Surviving are her husband, her mother, Mrs. Bertha Gutevasser of Dorchester, Wis., two daughters, Mrs. Anna Hahn of Eau Claire and Mrs. Lydia Viricks of Dorchester, Wis., a son, Arthur, of Chippewa Falls, three nieces and four nephews.
