Brown, Reynold A. (25 Nov. 1886 - 21 Aug. 1942)
Reynold A. Brown, a former citizen of Colby, passed away at Junction City, Wis., on Friday, August 21, 1942, a heart ailment of two months duration being the cause of his death. Funeral services were held Monday afternoon, August 24, at St. Paul’s Lutheran church in Junction City, Rev. Arno Krueger officiating, and internment was made in St. Michael’s cemetery.
The deceased was born in Manitowoc on Nov. 25, 1886, thus reaching the age of 55 years, six months and 27 days. He was married to Lena Skibba at Seattle, Washington, in 1913. His occupation was cheesemaker and at present was operating a locker plant at Junction City.
Surviving are his wife, four sisters and three brothers - Mrs. Mary Xert of Ashland, Mrs. Marius Anderson of Milwaukee, Mrs. Carl Halverson of Owen, Miss Minnie Brown of Milwaukee, Albert Brown of Platteville, Otto Brown of Loyal and Gust Brown of Owen, Wisconsin. Two sisters preceded him in death. They were Mrs. McMiller and Mrs. W. Welsch.
