Miller, Lucille (Marriage - 15 Aug. 1942)
Miss Lucille Miller, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Fred Miller of Unity, Wis. and Harlen W. Gorman, son of Mr. and Mrs. Wesley Gorman of Milwaukee, were married Saturday morning at 11 o’clock at the Evangelical Lutheran church at Wausau, Wis. Rev. Roehrs officiated.
The bride was attired in a light-weight wool suit of heavenly blue with turf tan accessories. Yards of blue tulle formed the crown of her hat. Her corsage consisted of white roses.
Miss Jeanette Luther, the bridesmaid, wore a beige and turf tan street dress with turf tan accessories. Her corsage was of yellow roses. Ray Miller, the bride’s brother, was best man.
A one o’clock dinner was served to members of the bridal party at the Blanche and Rudy’s Tea-room at Wausau, Wis. Mr. and Mrs. Gorman are spending a week at a resort at Eagle River, Michigan.
The bride graduated from the Colby, Wis. High School with the class of 1935 and has been employed at the Winkelman store at Wausau, Wis. The groom is a graduate of West Allis High School and of the Marquette University in Milwaukee. He is now employed as metallurgist at the J. Murray foundry at Wausau, Wis. After September 1, Mr. and Mrs. Gorman will be at home to friends in that city at 617 Franklin street.
