Graham, Doris C. (10 AUG 1940)
A pretty summer wedding was solemnized at the home of Mr. and Mrs. R.C. Graham when their daughter, Doris Clare, and Lionel Homer Legault, who makes his home with Mr. and Mrs. H.B. Palms of Menomonie, exchanged the holy vows of matrimony Saturday, Aug. 10, 1940, at 12:30 o’clock. Rev. W.P.D. Powe read the service, after which dinner was served to friends and relatives of the couple.
The bride was attended by her sister, Miss Lorraine Graham of Milwaukee, and the groom by his brother, Douglas of Stanley.
Both of the young people are former residents of Owen (Clark Co., Wis.) and graduates of the Owen High School.
Miss Graham since her graduation from the Owen schools has attended the Stevens Point Teachers College and for the past two years has been employed as a telephone operator at Stevens Point.
Mr. Legault also entered the Stevens Point Teachers College and is studying for a career in medicine and will continue his studies this fall.
They will make their home at Stevens Point and have the best wishes of their many friends and the Enterprise for life long happiness.
Out of town guests at the wedding were the Misses Germaine and Eleanore Mauel of Weyauwega; Mrs. Arthur Buker and Luke Buker of Greenwood; Mr. and Mrs. H.B. Palms of Menomonie; John Pittroff and Pat Regan of Chicago and Mrs. Clarence A. Kuhl of Stevens Point.
