Nolt, Ammon M. (5 Sept. 1931 - 19 Nov. 2007) Ammon M. Nolt

CURTISS -- Ammon M. Nolt, 76, of Curtiss, died Monday, Nov. 19, 2007, at his home.

Visitation will be from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. and from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 23, 2007, at the Lester Nolt home, N14876 Sandhill Ave.

Services for Ammon M. Nolt will be at 10 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 24, 2007 at Sunny Ridge Old Order Mennonite Church, Curtiss, Wis. Presiding will be Bishop Alvin M. Martin, Roy Sauder, Mahlons Shirk and Edwin S. Nolt.

Burial will be in Sunny Ridge Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Earl Ray Nolt, Jonathan Lee Nolt, Leroy Z. Nolt, Harlan Z. Nolt, Curvin Z. Nolt and Jay Evan Nolt.

Ammon was born Sept. 5, 1931, in East Earl township, Lancaster, Pa., to Daniel B. and Mary B. (Martin) Nolt. He married Susanna M. Shirk on Jan. 20, 1955, in Lancaster, Pa. He was a life-long farmer, farming in Lancaster County, Pa., and the township of Mayville, Clark County.

He is survived by his wife, Susanna of Curtiss; his children, Elvin (Martha L.) Nolt of Owen, Ivan (Verna S.) Nolt of Owen, Lester (Verna F.) Nolt of Curtiss; 27 grandchildren; five brothers, John (Barbara) Nolt of New Holland, Pa., Menno (Mabel) Nolt of New Holland, Pa., Issac (Rebecca) Nolt of Latham, Mo., Elam (Sarah) Nolt of Narvon, Pa., and Luke (Alma) Nolt of Ephrata, Pa.; and nine sisters, Frances (Weaver) Martin of New Holland, Pa., Hettie (Charles) Sagner of New Holland, Pa., Lena (Amos) Hoover of Denver, Pa., Jennie Nolt of Blue Ball, Pa., Susan (Jacob) Zimmerman of Roaring Spring, Pa., Rebecca Nolt of Lancaster, Pa., Ida (Noah) Martin of Newville, Pa., Edna Nolt of New Holland, Pa., and Lydia Nolt of New Holland, Pa.
