Robert Mueller

Robert J. Mueller, 81, of Abbotsford died Saturday, Dec. 10, 2005, at House of the Dove, Marshfield.

Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. Friday at Christ Lutheran Church in Abbotsford, Wis. Burial will be in Abbotsford Public Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Thursday at Maurina Funeral Home in Abbotsford, Wis., and from 9:30 a.m. until time of services Friday at the church.

He was born April 23, 1924, in Abbotsford to John and Verna (Schisser) Mueller. He served his country in the Air Force during World War II. Robert and Betty Lou Oehler were married Dec. 18, 1954. She died in 1960. He worked for Hans Amacher in the Abbotsford Hardware Store and in 1953 he bought the Appliance and LP divisions from him and started the Abbotsford Appliance Center, which he operated until his retirement.

Survivors include his sons, Jeffrey (Lori) Mueller of Abbotsford, Michael Mueller of Appleton, Wesley (Anita) Mueller of North Aurora, Ill., and Rodney "Rusty" (Darla) Mueller of Medford; 20 grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.
