LeRoy J. Lenz
Hixton, Wis. - LeRoy J. Lenz, 75, of Hixton, died on Friday, Dec. 9, 2005, at Saint Luke's Medical Center in Milwaukee, Wis.
LeRoy was born on July 3, 1930, in Chicago, Ill., to Julius and Marion "Marie" (Johnson) Lenz. He graduated from Neillsville High School in 1948 and served in the United States Navy for two years. He was married and later divorced. He was employed by American Motors/Chrysler in Kenosha and Ohio for many years and was a member of the UAW.
LeRoy was known as a hard worker and he enjoyed helping others. He was also known as a jokester. Dancing was one of his favorite pastimes. He was a good father, grandfather and friend and he will always be loved and missed.
He is survived by numerous relatives and many friends.
A time of remembrance for LeRoy J. Lenz was held from 2 to 3 p.m. on Sunday, Dec. 18, 2005, at the Jensen-Modjeski Funeral Home, Hixton, followed by graveside services at the Dells Dam Cemetery, rural Neillsville, Wis.
