Adams, Mae Louise (Marriage - 7 Nov. 1942)
Mae Louise Adams, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. George Adams of Burlington, Wis., and Arthur E. Makholm of Suring, Wis., were united in marriage on Saturday, November 7th, 1942, at 4:00 P.M. at the home of the bride, Rev. Barnett of Burlington, Wis., reading the marriage ceremony. The couple was attended by Miss Ruth Bjoin of Rice Lake, Wis., and Mark H. Makholm, brother of the groom.
The bride was attired in a gown of blue velveteen with white lace trim and her corsage consisted of white gardenias. Miss Bjoin wore a dress of wine velveteen with white lace trim and her corsage also consisted of white gardenias.
A reception was given at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Ray Adams and home decorations consisted of candle light service.
The groom is supervisor in Military explosives at Du Pont, Juliet, Ill., and the bride is a Colby, Wis. High School teacher.
