Barrett, Mary (Marriage - 4 Nov. 1942)

Miss Mary Barrett, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. James Barrett of Owen, and Emil Luchterhand of Unity, son of Mrs. Bertha Luchterhand of Colby, exchanged nuptial vows in a ceremony performed by Judge L. J. Murat at Stevens Point Wednesday evening, November 4th.

The bride, who was graduated from the Central State Teachers’ College in 1940, is teaching in a rural school in Taylor county and will complete the school year. Mr. Luchterhand, a graduate of the University of Wisconsin, is engaged in farming.

The couple returned Monday from a brief honeymoon in Milwaukee and Chicago and are at home to their friends on the bridegroom’s farm near Unity, Wis.
