Spring Creek Valley - by Mrs. Henry Nebel
Mr. and Mrs. Ferdinand Schilling and son, Philip, of Granton spent Sunday with Mrs. Bertha Schilling and Mr. and Mrs. Ezra Schilling and family.
Mr. and Mrs. William Wolf returned to their home after working several months for Mr. Hanson, north of Greunke’s factory.
Violet Foemmel, Stevens Pint, spent the weekend with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. August Foemmel.
A party was held at the Ezra Schilling home Friday evening, the occasion being Mrs. Schilling’s birthday anniversary. A nice lunch was served. Mrs. Schilling received many presents. Those present were Mr. and Mrs. Albert Grimm, Mr. and Mrs. Henry Nebel, Anna Grimm, Mr. and Mr. Marion Lee and family, and Mrs. and Mrs. Gregor Wolf and family.
Roger and Eldon Lee stayed with their grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. August Foemmel Saturday afternoon.
Mrs. Warren Beil called at the home of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Walter Lindow, Saturday.
Mr. and Mrs. Walter Lindow, Mr. and Mrs. Edward Lindow and Mrs. Henry Nebel called on Lewis Lindow at St. Joseph’s hospital, the past week.
Mrs. Russell Roehl and son, Lowell, and Mr. and Mrs. Marion Lee and daughter, Constance and son, James, were at Henry Nebel home on Sunday.
Michael Gallagher, who stayed with his grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Herman Portz, for several weeks, returned to his home in Neillsville on Saturday. Mrs. Edwin Haslow of Chili and Mrs. Herman Portz accompanied him.
Mr. and Mrs. Ed Schlinsog of York were supper guests at the Ed Lindow home.
