Allison Jean Wittkamp, 23, Iron Mountain, Michigan, formerly of Colby, went to be with her Savior, Sunday, November 18, 2007, in Dickinson County, Michigan, from injuries sustained in a vehicle accident.
Allison Jean Wittkamp was born August 30, 1984, in Marshfield, the daughter of Debra Hoernke and Robert Wittkamp. She was a 2002 graduate of Colby, Wis. High School and attended Madison Cosmetology College. Allison loved to dance and sing and touched the hearts of all who knew her. Her search for her niche in life led her many places. She was a member of Zion Lutheran Church in Colby, Wis.
Allison will be dearly missed by her son, Andy Durant of Milwaukee; mother and father, Debra and Robert Monroe of Hayward; father, Robert Wittkamp of Abbotsford; brothers, Darrin (Stacy) Hoernke of Colby, Derrick (Jennifer) Hoernke of Amherst, Damien (Nicole) Hoernke of Eau Claire, and Rob Wittkamp of Noblesville, Indiana; maternal grandmother, Delores Hesgard of Colby; paternal grandfather, Don Wittkamp of Abbotsford; and many aunts, uncles and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her paternal grandmothers, Jean Wittkamp and Ester Bonney; and maternal grandfather, Stanley Hesgard.
Funeral services for Allison will be at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday, November 21, 2007, at the Maurina Funeral Home in Abbotsford with Reverend Mark Neumann presiding. Visitation with family and friends will be from 4:00 p.m. until time of services on Wednesday at the funeral home.
Maurina/Community Funeral Homes is assisting the family with arrangements.
