Joe Zilk, A P., Co. 270-43, Camp Scott, U. S. N. T. S. Farragut, Idaho, in a letter to his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Joe Zilk of this city, writes, in part:
"Well, here I am all decked out in a navy uniform. Sure feels funny. I had my physical this morning and passed it perfectly; this one was really tough. So far camp isn’t so bad, but I don’t think I will like it so well because you have to do too much what the other guy wants. We won’t be able to leave the camp at all for six weeks. At the end of either nine or twelve weeks we’ll be able to get leave to come home. Boy! Will that be a treat? I am looking forward to it already."
