Gorman - by Anne Champa
Well, March did got out gently as a lamb, leaving behind it all the lion and snow. But with the disappearance of most of the snow, cellars are flooded and roads are nearing the stage of being impassable. But here are the early spring birds, such as bluebirds, robins, etc., all the calm, warm weather.
Mrs. Thomas Pozego returned from the Sacred Heart hospital at Eau Claire last Saturday. She had been in the hospital for about three weeks.
Mrs. Frank Morgal also returned from the Eau Claire hospital recently, where she had been a patient for some time.
Mr. and Mrs. Nick Crotzer of Chicago were here for a brief visit at the Hribar and Backus homes last Monday.
Mrs. Frank Morgal entered the Sacred Heart hospital at Eau Claire last Monday where she underwent an operation.
Mr. and Mrs. Peter Larson, Jr., and family arrived from Gary, Ind. They expect to stay here on a farm with his parents. Frank Van Horn delivered their household goods.
The county snow plows widened and removed the snow from the roads in our neighborhood last week.
