Mr. and Mrs. Art Wegner and Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Wegner attended a party for William Adams of Pine Valley Wednesday evening.
Ted Schwamb hauled milk for Harold Walker, who was entertaining the measles last week.
Ludwig Perushek purchased a new tractor.
Miss Doris Wegner assisted Mrs. William Adams with house cleaning last week.
Mrs. Tillie Modersohn and daughter, Helen, visited with Mrs. Albert Prill one day last week.
Miss Eunice Knops and Miss Virginia Scholtz, who are employed in the Rationing office, took a 10-day vacation beginning Wednesday. They will visit Pvt. Robert Knops, who is stationed in South Carolina, and also friends in Virginia.
Mr. and Mrs. Anthony Tolaney of Park Falls, Mr. and Mrs. Joe Tolaney and family, Mr. and Mrs. Valentine Krainz and son, Val., Tony Krainz, John, Louis and Rudy Horvat, and Mrs. Mary Tolaney and son, John, were Sunday visitors at the Frank Laken home.
