Sollberger, Alice (Marriage - 5 June 1943)
Miss Alice Sollberger, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Sollberger, Jr., and Elmer Hoesly, son of Mr. and Mrs. Markus Hoesly, Jr., were united in marriage Saturday evening, June 5, at the Reformed parsonage in Neillsville, Wis. The Rev. N. J. Dechant officiated at the double ring ceremony. Miss Dorothy Imig and Louis Seif were the only attendants.
The bride was attired in a lovely suit of Copenhagen blue. Her corsage was a blend of pale yellow and pink rosebuds. The maid of honor, Miss Dorothy Imig, wore s suit designed along the same lines as the bride’s but, in soft shade of brown. A yellow rosebud corsage completed her ensemble.
Mrs. Hoesly has been a teacher in this community prior to her marriage. Her education was received in the Neillsville High School, where she completed the regular four-year course and one year of teachers’ training. She prepared further for her teaching profession by attending two and one-half years in the State Teachers’ college at Eau Claire.
Mr. Hoesly, a graduate of the Neillsville High School, is engaged in farming near Neillsville, Wis.
The young couple are now on a week’s wedding trip to northern Wisconsin and Michigan.
