Downes, Wesley (1866? - 27 March 1943)
Funeral services for Wesley Downes were held at two p.m. Friday, April second, at the M. E. Church at Loyal after lying in state at the Jaster Funeral Home since Wednesday. Burial took place in the Loyal Cemetery.
Mr. Downes, who had made his home with the Milford Williams family in the town of York for several months, was taken ill and removed to the Marshfield hospital on the 25th day of January, where he remained until released by death at 8 p.m. March 27th.
Among the surviving relatives are Mrs. W. I. Mack, Ira Clouse, Lee Clouse and Mrs. Bert Youngs, all of Loyal.
