Clark, Mary Emma (28 Jan. 1858? - 12 May 1943) *Birth date can be off; used date calculator.

Mrs. Mary Emma Clark, who was born in Sauk County, passed away at the home of her son, Morton Clark, Alma Center, May 12, 1943, at 3 a.m. at the age of 85 years, three months and 14 days.

On the 19th day of June, 1883, she was married to Adelbert H. Clark. There were the parents of one son and also an adopted son. Her husband died about ten years ago. She had been in usual health until Friday, May 7th, when she was stricken with an illness from which she did not recover.

She is survived by two sons Morton and William, their wives, and seven grandchildren.

Mrs. Clark was a member of The Degree of Honor Lodge of St. Paul, Minn.

Funeral services were held on Saturday, May 15, at the Funeral Home at Granton, the Rev. G. W. Longenecker officiating. Burial was made in the Windfall Cemetery.
