Graham, Mamie (30 May 1872 - 29 May 1943)
Mrs. Mamie Carstensen Graham passed away at her home at Virginia, Minn., at 4:30 am. May 29, 1943, after a brief illness following a stroke of paralysis. She was 71 years of age.
The body was brought to Neillsville where funeral services were held at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday at the Jaster Funeral home and at two p.m. at the Granton Lutheran Church, the Rev. A. H. Laesch performing the ceremony. Burial was made in the Mapleworks cemetery.
The departed was born in New York City May 30, 1872, her maiden name being Mamie Wehman. On the 31st of March, 1891, she was married to Daniel Carstensen. She lived for seven years on a farm in the town of Washburn. Her first husband passed away while they made their home in Washburn. She is survived by her husband, Mr. Graham and the following children:
Fred Carstensen, town of Washburn, Harry Carstensen on the home farm in that township, Mrs. Elvera Schmidt, Chicago, Herbert Carstensen, Milwaukee and William Carstensen, town of Washburn, and by two brothers and two sisters, one brother having passed away.
