Furlong, Margaret (? - 1943)
Word came to Neillsville friends that Mrs. Margaret Furlong died in Minneapolis Sunday. She was a daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. William Gergen, pioneers of Clark County, but had resided in Minneapolis about forty years. She was married in Neillsville to Francis Furlong who passed away in 1924.
Mrs. Furlong is survived by a son, Ray, and a daughter, Mrs. E. L. Johnson of St. Paul, a sister, Mrs. Grace Lester of Minneapolis, and two brothers, Elwood Gergen and Vernon Gergen of Neillsville, Wis. Two surviving nieces also reside in this area, Mrs. Grace Colby, of Loyal, and Mrs. Belle Butterfield of Neillsville, Wis.
W. J. Rush, a cousin of the deceased, went to Minneapolis to attend the funeral, which was held on Tuesday.
