Johnson, Anna (11 Aug. 1862 - 17 Feb. 1943)

Mrs. Henry Johnson died Wednesday night, Feb. 17th, at her home in the town of Unity after a long illness at the age of 80 years. Funeral services were held Sunday afternoon at the Alfred Justman home in the town of Unity at 1:30 o’clock and at the Trinity Lutheran church in the village of Unity at 2:00 o’clock, Rev. J. A. Olson officiating, and internment followed in the church cemetery.

The deceased was born in Finland August 11, 1862, and moved to Minneapolis with her parents in 1888. On December 10, 1888, she married Mr. Johnson and the following year they moved to the farm in the town of Unity which continued to be her home the rest of her life. She was a charter member of the Trinity church and a member of the ladies’ aid and missionary societies of the church.

Surviving besides the widower are three daughters, Mrs. Alfred Justman and Mrs. Roy Justman of the town of Unity and Mrs. Edward Domer of Marshfield, a son, Paul Johnson of Athens, 22 grand children and 10 great grand children. Also a brother, Victor Mattson, of Detroit and three brothers in Finland.
