Reno, Mildred Marie (Marriage - 8 Apr. 1943)
Back from a honeymoon in Milwaukee, Mr. and Mrs. Sheldon Lynn are now at home to friends in Unity, Wis. Mrs. Lynn is the former Miss Mildred Marie Reno, also of Unity, Wis.
The couple were married last Thursday morning at Wisconsin Rapids, in a ceremony performed by the pastor of the First Methodist church. Miss Margaret Zimmerman of Rudolph, and Donald Colby, Unity, served as attendants.
The bride’s gown of white satin had a sweetheart neckline and bracelet-length sleeves. Her veil fell in a train from a seed pearl headdress and she carried tea roses, sweet peas and snapdragons in a shower bouquet. Her only jewelry was a gold locket, a gift from the bridegroom.
Miss Zimmerman wore a light blue crepe formal and had a corsage bouquet of snapdragons and sweet peas.
A reception and wedding supper in honor of the couple was given at the home of the bride’s uncle and aunt, Mr. and Mrs. Albert Louis, at Rudolph, which was attended by 30 guests. Decorations were carried out in pink, blue and white.
