Haack, Vivian (Marriage - 10 June 1943)
Mr. and Mrs. Ferdinand A. Haack of Abbotsford announced the marriage of their daughter, Vivian, to Pfc. Howard Kramer, son of Mr. and Mrs. Anton Kramer, also of Abbotsford, in a ceremony performed in the Lutheran church of Brownwood, Texas, June 10th with the Rev. Martin reading the marriage vows. Mr. and Mrs. William Smith were the attendants.
For the wedding the bride was attired in a white summer frock trimmed in navy. A white hat, veiled in blue, navy shoes, and a corsage of gardenias and red carnations completed her attire.
A wedding breakfast was served to the bridal party at a Brownwood café following the ceremony.
Mrs. Kramer, who left Abbotsford on June 7 for Texas, plans to remain there with her husband who is stationed at Camp Bowie, for the summer months but will return to Abbotsford for the opening of the school in the fall. Mrs. Kramer taught in the Abbotsford Grade School the past year.
