Ellwood, Mae (Marriage - 21 Aug. 1943)
In a double-ring ceremony performed in Osseo Saturday afternoon, Aug. 21, Miss Mae Ellwood, daughter of Angus Ellwood of Unity, became the bride of Ralph Anderson, son of Mr. and Mrs. Ludwig Anderson, also of Unity, Wis. Vows were exchanged in the Lutheran church before Rev. O. C. Aune.
The bride was dressed in an ensemble of aqua wool with rust accessories and had a corsage of pink roses and a gold locket, a gift of the groom.
Mr. and Mrs. Mencil Anderson, brother and sister in law of the groom, attended the couple. Mrs. Anderson wore a brown crepe print dress with tan accessories and a corsage of yellow roses.
Both young people are employed in defense work in Eau Claire and are now at home to friends in that city at 1422 ½ Omaha street.
