Douglas E. Dassow
Douglas E. Dassow, 40, of the town of Greenwood, died Tuesday, Jan. 3, 2006, at House of the Dove Hospice Home in Marshfield.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Friday, Jan. 6, 2006, at Trinity Lutheran Church in Whittlesey. Burial will be in Chelsea Community Cemetery, town of Chelsea.
Visitation will be from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. today at Hemer Funeral Home in Medford, and from 9 a.m. until service time Friday at the church.
He was born March 12, 1965, in Medford to Edward L. and Sue Ellen (Wolff) Dassow. He married Stephanie Tlusty on May 14, 1993, and they later divorced. He then married Bobbi Jo Makovsky on Oct. 5, 2001, in Medford. He began employment at Hurd in 1983 as a general laborer and then became a forklift operator until ill health forced his retirement in 2005.
Doug is survived by his wife, Bobbi Jo Dassow, Greenwood; two children, Brendon and McKenna, both at home; father, Edward L. Dassow, and mother, Sue Ellen Dassow, both of Medford; and sister, Julie (John) Smith, Dorchester, Wis.
