Verna J. Stulgo, 88, Medford, died Monday, Jan. 9, 2006, at Memorial Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday, Jan. 12, 2006, at St. Paul's Lutheran Church. Burial will be in Medford Evergreen II Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. today at Hemer Funeral Home in Medford, and from 9 a.m. until service time Thursday at the church.

She was born Dec. 15, 1917, in the town of Holway to Eric and Julia (Olson) Carlson. She married Harvey M. Larson on July 29, 1939, in Curtiss, Wis. He preceded her in death Dec. 27, 1977. She married Anton "Tony" Stulgo on March 17, 1984, and he predeceased her in death Sept. 22, 1995. Verna was employed for 20 years in the men's department of Medford Co-op.

She is survived by her daughter, Judi (Allen) Mellow, Long Beach, Calif.; son, Tom Larson, Medford; one granddaughter; and two sisters, Lucille (Armin) Buehler, Medford, and Marianne (Irving) Schirmer, Marengo, Ill.
