Helen Mitchell

Helen Mitchell, 95, Owen, died Friday, Jan. 13, 2006, at Clark County Health Care Center, Owen, Wis. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Jan. 17, 2006, at Holy Rosary Catholic Church, Owen, Wis. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery, Withee, Wis.

Visitation will be from 9:30 a.m. until time of services at the church.

Helen was born Sept. 18, 1910, in Edson to Peter and Barbara (Pinter) Klapperich. Helen and Woodrow Mitchell were married Nov. 14, 1934, in Edson. He preceded her in death. The couple moved to Owen in 1942 and farmed until 1986. Helen continued to reside on the farm until entering the Clark County Health Care Center on Feb. 18, 2004.

Helen is survived by two sons, Maynard Mitchell of Owen and Sidney Mitchell of Owen; and two brothers, Edward Klapperich of Cadott and Herbert Klapperich of Cadott.
