Strejcek, Venzl Joseph (2 June 1881 - 31 Oct. 1943)
Funeral services were held Thursday at the Zink Funeral home at Abbotsford for Venzl Joseph Strejcek, age 62, who was killed Sunday, Oct. 31, on Highway 29, east of Abbotsford, Wis. Rev. Francis J. Brockman officiated and internment was made in the Abbotsford cemetery. Pall bearers were Morris, Kilian and Albert Gierl, Frank Zahorka, Michael Zobrak and Charles Lehmann.
Surviving are his widow Mrs. Rose Strejcek of Muskegon, Mich., three sons, William of Foundtain, Mich., George of Scottville, Mich., and Sgt. Charles of Camp Claiborne, La., and five daughters, Mrs. Gergstrom, Mrs. Elsie Jensen, Mrs. Sylvia Sandles and Mrs. Helen Mason, all of Chicago, and Mrs. Emma Smith of Muskegon, Mich.
Two sons, George and William, and daughter, Mrs. Fred Smith, were present for the funeral.
