Kanter, Lucine (Marriage - 24 Nov. 1943)
Announcement has been made of the marriage of Miss Lucine Kanter, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Nick Kanter of Colby, and Harry Benjamin of Chicago. The ceremony was performed in St. Anthony’s Catholic church in El Segundo, Calif., at 5 p.m. November 24. Attendants were the bride’s brother and sister-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Clem Kanter, of San Bernadino, Calif.
The bride, who was given in marriage by the groom’s brother in law, John Wilson, was attired in a street-length frock of navy blue and white with which she wore navy and white accessories and a corsage of orchids. Mrs. Kanter wore a rose colored dress with black accessories and a corsage of gardenias.
A 6 o’clock dinner was served to the bridal party at the Wilson home in El Segundo. The couple are now residing in El Segundo where both are employed. Prior to their marriage they were employed in Chicago.
