Bride Took Proceeds of The Wedding Dance
The net proceeds of the wedding dance of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Paczkowski, town of Longwood, Clark county, were $152. After the ball was over, Mrs. Paczkowski took this money, the gifts of friends and relatives of the couple, and went home with it. She went, not to her husband’s new home, but to the home of her parents, according to the story which Mr. Paczkowski told the circuit court. There she remained one whole week. Then she went to her husband’s home and remained two weeks, according to his statement, and thereafter she went away, not to return. She now resides at Boyd, according to his statement, while he continues in the town of Longwood.
The wedding took place in October, 1942.
Mr. Paczkowski alleges that they never lived as man and wife, and he asks the court for a decree of divorce. The bride’s maiden name was Anna Rygiel.
