Kath Arlyle #3 (15 JAN 1930 - 7 NOV 2007)
Arlyle Kath, 77, Loyal, died on Wednesday, Nov. 7, 2007, at Saint Joseph’s Hospital Palliative Care Unit. Funeral services were held 11 a.m., on Saturday, Nov. 10, at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, North Green Grove. The Rev. Paul Hunsicker officiated. Burial was in St. Paul’s Lutheran Cemetery. Pallbearers were Paul Vitort, Dean Hafermann. Jeremiah Harder, Martin Schultz, Joshua Card and Dan Pieper.
Arlyle Sachse was born on Jan. 15, 1930, in Cherokee to William and Lena (nee Kowalk) Sachse. She married Donald Schultz, who preceded her in death on March 21, 1961. She then married Otis Kath on Jan. 12, 1963. They farmed in the town of Beaver. She had a love of music and dancing and was hospitable to all. She enjoyed playing cards with family and friends. She was a member of St. Luke’s Lutheran Church and its Ladies Aide. She was also a member of the Unity American Legion Auxiliary where she served as president.
Survivors include her husband, Otis, Loyal; her children, Dennis Schultz, Dixon, Ill., Diane (Rick) Harder, Babcock, Donna (Barry) Gunderson, Osseo, and Todd Kath, South Elgin, Ill.; six grandchildren, Misty Vitort, Jeremiah Harder, Dezeray Hafermann, Angela Card, Martin Schultz and Amber Gunderson; and nine great-grandchildren.
Preceding her in death were her parents; her first husband. Donald.
Maurina/Community Funeral Home, Abbotsford, assisted the family with arrangements.
