Richard A. Miracle was born on July 14, 1962, at Theda Clark Hospital, Neenah, to Alvin Cowling Miracle and Betty Jane Christine. He attended Winneconne High School. He worked at various farms around Winneconne as a young man. As a second income, he painted the interiors and exteriors of homes across the state of Wisconsin. He was a perfectionist, and very neat while performing his gift. He attended and graduated from Fox Valley Technical School, Appleton, with a commercial driver’s license. At the time of his illness, he was employed as a truck driver for Checker Logistics. He truly knew the value of hard work. He was unable to continue employment due to ill health since November 2005. He was baptized at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Winneconne. He was currently attending United Methodist Church, Spencer, Wis. He had a special love for music, concerts, and enjoyed motorcycle riding which made him feel as free as the wind, which matched his wild spirit. He was happiest when meeting and making new friends and sharing the camaraderie of his longtime friends. All his gifts will surely be missed by his family and friends and all the lives he touched.

Survivors include his daughter, Ashley Miracle, Spencer; his mother, Betty Jane Miracle, Mesa, Ariz.; his brothers, William Hoes, Spencer, Joe (friend Kent De Young), Mesa, , and David (Joyce) Miracle, Eagle River, Alaska; his sisters, Rose (Ken) Keys, Menomonie, and Cathy (Darin Pahl) Vieth, Norwalk; and his special friend, Lisa Karl, Spencer, Wis.
