Davel, Timothy D. (28 FEB 1950 - 22 NOV 2007)
Timothy D. Davel, 57, Loyal, died on Thursday, Nov. 22, 2007, at Saint Joseph’s Hospital, Marshfield. Funeral services were held at 11 a.m., on Tuesday, Nov. 27, at St. Anthony’s Catholic Church, Loyal. The Rev. Roman Kaiser officiated. Burial followed in St. Anthony’s Catholic Cemetery. Pallbearers were Mike Wehrman, David Wehrman, Randy Wehrman, Kevin Froeba, Bob Davel and Dennis Bauer.
Timothy Dale Davel was born on Feb 28. 1950, in Marshfield, to Bernard and Katherine (nee DeYoung) Davel. He was raised and received his education in Loyal, graduating from Loyal High School in 1968. He married Vickie Bauer on May 2, 1981, at St. Anthony’s Catholic Church, Loyal. They later divorced. He worked at Weyerhaeuser, Marshfield, for a couple years, then went to work at O-W Trindal (presently Vita Plus), in Loyal, as a truck driver, until the time of his death. He was a member of St. Anthony’s Catholic Church, loved playing with his grandchildren, and enjoyed bowling and hunting in his younger years.
He will be sadly missed by one son, Matthew (Diane), Chili; two grandchildren, Mandie and Jacob Schultz; three brothers, Daniel Davel, Loyal, Thomas Davel, Nekoosa, and Patrick Davel, Wausau; four sisters, Mary Ann Wehrman, Owen, Marcella Bauer, Wisconsin Rapids, Marliss Peters, Nekoosa, and Jacqueline Wardeski, Milwaukee; nieces; nephews; other relatives and friends.
Preceding him in death were his parents; and three brothers, Richard Davel, Kenneth Davel, and Jerry Davel.
Cuddie Funeral Home, Loyal, assisted the family with arrangements.
