MEDFORD -- Amelia M. Schneider, 90, Medford, died Thursday, Nov. 22, 2007, at Memorial Nursing & Rehab Center, Medford.
A funeral Mass will be held at 11 a.m. Monday at Holy Rosary Catholic Church, Medford. Interment will be in Sacred Heart Catholic Cemetery, Stetsonville.
Visitation will be from 4 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. Sunday at Hemer Funeral Home, where there will be a 7 p.m. Catholic Rosary Service.
Amelia was born Jan. 27, 1917, at Dorchester, the daughter of Anselm P. and Alice E. (Bushman) Schmid. She was married June 1, 1943, to Roland Adam Schneider at St. Louis Catholic Church, Dorchester, Wis.
They farmed on the Schneider family farm in the town of Deer Creek and later raised mink, retiring in 1967. They then moved to the town of Medford.
Amelia is survived by her husband, Roland A. Schneider, town of Medford; three daughters, Barbara (Jerry) Schreiner of Medford, Karen (Philip) Sulko of Medford, and Jean (Ben) Egle of Medford; nine grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren; a sister, Theresa Hess of Medford; a brother, Anselm (Rowena) Schmid Jr. of Dorchester; and sister-in-law, Carol Kronfuss of Babbitt, Minn.
