Leo Kronberger had a very narrow escape from losing his splitting fence posts the wedge flew up and hit him just over the eye, cutting quite a gash.
Clayton Bassett has been busy digging a trench from the house to the barn, as he intends to have a water system installed.
Carl Drescher had a new roof put on his house last week.
Dorothy Kronberger accompanied the Ray Prior family of Loyal to Crystal Lake, Ill., Friday for a visit with friends.
Mr. and Mrs. Weber and Mr. and Mrs. Joe Weber and family of Rozelleville visited at the Bonnie Wehe and Leonder Schultz homes Friday.
