Schiller, Margaret (28 May 1859 - 20 July 1943)
Mrs. Jacob Schiller, 85, passed away at her home on North Grand Avenue at 11:45 p.m. Tuesday, July 20 after an illness of three months.
Funeral services for the deceased will be held Saturday morning July 24, at 9 a.m., at the St. Mary’s Catholic Church, the Rev. Fr. J. A. Biegler officiating. Burial will be made at the St. Mary’s Cemetery.
Margaret Litzen was born May 28, 1859, to Anna and Mathew Litzen in the town of Marshfield, Fond du Lac County, and had been a resident of Clark County for approximately 57 years.
On February 6, 1876, she was married to Jacob Schiller at St. Joseph in Fond du Lac County. To them were born eleven children, four of whom died in infancy. One son, William passed away in 1936.
Surviving are six children: Mrs. Della Betz, Rice Lake, Wis.; Mrs. (Anna) E. A. Wolff, Lindsay, Mont.; T. F. Schiller, Greenwood, Mrs. (Margaret) T. Christofferson, Juneau, Wis., Miss Mildred Schiller and Mrs. Francis Preston, both at home.
