Finley, Alice Mae (Marriage - 12 Feb. 1944)
Miss Alice Mae Finley of Marshfield, daughter of Mrs. Rena Finley of Okabojo, S.D., and Willis Lester Hafermann of Colby were united in marriage in a nuptial ceremony in the Immanuel Lutheran parsonage at Marshfield by Rev. G. M. Krueger Saturday afternoon at three o’clock. Miss Gertrude Steizel attended the bride and Homer Smith of Colby was best man.
The bride was attired in a blue suit with which she wore brown accessories and a corsage of mixed flowers. Miss Steizel wore a tan suit with brown accessories and a similar corsage.
Relatives and friends were entertained at a wedding dinner at the groom’s home following the ceremony after which the couple left for the Twin Cities on a honeymoon.
Mr. Hafermann is a graduate of the Colby, Wis. High School, class of 1932. His bride is a graduate of the Pierre High School, class of 1937, and is employed at the Marshfield Clinic. They will reside in Marshfield at 306 W. Sixth Street.
