Green Grove, Wis. - Feb. 24, 1944
Mr. and Mrs. Otto Sommer of Spencer visited Sunday at the Paul Woik home.
A group of young folks helped Olga Woik celebrate her birthday Sunday.
Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Boneske of Athens and son, Sgt. Walter Boneske, who is home on a furlough from Arkansas, Mrs. Ray Boneske, Mrs. Maruin, Mr. and Mrs. Edward Bjorn and family and Mrs. Ehrenreich and children, all of Owen, were entertained at dinner Friday night at the Walter Hake home.
Mr. and Mrs. Alvin Dix of Stratford spent Sunday with Mr. and Mrs. Walter Laabs.
Mr. and Mrs. Elmer Schuette and Mr. and Mrs. Harley Hardrath spent Friday at the home of their father, Theo. Sommer.
Mrs. Wm. Winkel left Saturday for Rice Lake, Wis.
Friends and neighbors helped Mr. Theo. Sommer celebrated his birthday Tuesday. Cards were the amusement of the evening.
Mr. Erick Schauer and mother, Mrs. Bertha Schauer, and Mrs. Walter Schauer and son, Kenneth, motored to Menomonie Monday for the day to visit Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Schauer.
Mrs. Hattie Glenzer called on Miss Bertha Kraut and mother in Curtiss Saturday.
