Vanderhoof, Roselyn (Marriage - 25 May 1944)
Miss Roselyn Vanderhoof, daughter of Joel Vanderhoof, and Walter Stabnow, son of Mr. and Mrs. Walter Stabnow, Sr., exchanged marriage vows at St. Mary’s Catholic church this Thursday morning, May 25th, at 9:00 A.M., Rev. L. J. Lang reading the marriage ceremony. The bride was attended by Bernice Van Slett and the groom by Robert Lindner.
The bride was attired in a mist green suit with white accessories and her shoulder corsage consisted of gladiolas. Miss Van Slett wore a soft brown suit with white accessories and her shoulder corsage also consisted of gladiolas.
A reception was held at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Olson, brother in law and sister of the bride. Sweet peas were used for table decorations.
The couple will make a wedding trip to Northern Wisconsin and will be at home at Colby after the first of June.
The groom is employed at the Colby Theatre.
