Slota, Rita (17 FEB 1940)
Mr. Roger Lawrence, son of Mr. and Mrs. R.G. Lawrence, and Miss Rita Slota, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Slota of Thorp (Clark Co., Wis.), were quietly married at the courthouse at Dubuque, Iowa, on Saturday morning, Feb. 17th, 1940. Witnesses to the ceremony were Leslie E. Hanson and Miss Dorothy Broeren, both of Thorp.
The couple will reside at Marshfield, Wis., where Mr. Lawrence has charge of the Marshfield branch of the Thorp Finance Corp.
The many friends of both parties in this vicinity join the "Courier" in extending congratulations.
