Clark, Margaret Ann (Marriage - 2 Sept. 1944)
Margaret Ann Clark, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Leslie Clark of Stevens Point, became the bride of Sgt. Lloyd C. Allmann of Milwaukee, formerly of Colby, at a double ring ceremony which took place in Oconomowoc at the Methodist parsonage on September 2nd with Rev. Arthur J. Johnson, former Methodist minister in Stevens Point, reading the service. The couple was attended by Mary McNeill of Janesville and Charles Johnson.
The bride wore a fitted aqua linen dress with black accessories and a corsage of white roses.
Sergeant Allmann, who spent 14 months in Ireland, and returned to the United States in July, 1943, reported back to Camp Breckinridge, Ky., and his bride will continue her work in Stevens Point at Federated Hardware Mutuals. Before entering the service, Sgt. Allmann was employed at Taylor’s South Side drug store in Stevens Point.
