Voelker, Bonnie Jean (Marriage - 16 Sept. 1944)
Miss Bonnie Jean Voelker, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Oscar Voelker, became the bride of Mr. Max Eugene Ramker of Colby, son of Mr. and Mrs. John Ramker, in a ceremony performed Saturday morning at 10:30 o’clock by the Rev. Francis J. Brockman.
Both the bride and her attendant, Mrs. Clarence Koerner of Milwaukee, a sister of the groom, wore brown suits with matching hats and accessories. Corsages were pinned to their shoulders. Virgil Ramker, a brother of the groom, was best man.
Immediate relatives and closest friends were entertained at dinner and supper and a dance was given in Cherokee hall.
The groom is engaged in farming near Abbotsford, Wis.
Out of town people present at the wedding were the bride’s grand mother, Mrs. Louisa Fisher of Black River Falls, Mrs. H. W. Van Gorden of Alma Center and Mrs. Koerner of Milwaukee.
