Thanks for the info, I really am enjoying this. My dad and grandparents, Paul Davel and Albert and Florence (Baker) Davel had deep ties to the town as I did, having grown up there, too. I wrote about our skating pond, Rock Creek and other "Loyal" stories -including about Ol' Man Colby - over the years for our local newspaper. My siblings and I were on the Citizen's State Bank float in the first Corn Festival Parade in 1959? A lot of fun
