ELMA GURNEY turns 90

It was a happy 90th birthday for Elma Gurney

A surprise birthday party was given for Elma Gurney celebrating her 90th birthday on Saturday, Nov. 3rd. The party was given by Barb Roberts, Brenda Pokallus, Debbie Hendrickson, Shannon Gamroth and Sheila Pohle at the home of her daughter and husband Barb and Steve Roberts of Neillsville, Wis.

Seven of Elma’s surviving children and spouses were in attendance. They were Charles Gurney, Sarasota, Fla.; Louis (Diane) Gurney; Eugene (Sue) Gurney; Galen (Janet) Gurney; Bill Gurney; Barb (Steve) Roberts, all of Neillsville; and Nancy (Art) Hosking, Sheboygan, Wis. Also attending were many of her grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren, as well as many nieces and nephews.

Lunch was served to the many guests.

On Sunday, 16 members of Elma’s immediate family joined her at the Olympic Family Restaurant in Neillsville for breakfast and conversation.
