Miller, Henrietta (21 Oct. 1855 - 27 Oct. 1944)

Mrs. Henrietta Miller passed away at the Clark county hospital at the age of 89 years at 7:45 P.M. Friday, Oct. 27th, hardening of the arteries being the cause of her death. Funeral services were held Tuesday afternoon, Oct. 31, at the Lulloff Funeral Home, Rev. D. Grether officiating, and internment was made in the Colby cemetery. Pall bearers were Lawrence Clark, Justine Gray, Clarence Miller, Ray Miller, Ray Schmidt and Willard Becherer. Those in charge of the flowers were Mrs. Ray Schmidt, Mrs. Justine Gray, Mrs. Clarence Miller, Miss Florence Miller.

The deceased was born in Germany on October 21, 1855 in which country she was married to Fred E. Miller. They came to this country in 1881 and settled in Clark county and engaged in farming.

Surviving children are Mary Miller of Sigourney, Iowa, Mollie Clark of Owen, Wis., Ernest F. Miller of Colby, Willie Miller, address unknown, Mrs. Herbert Gray of Owen, Wis., Mrs. John Goetz of Cleveland, Ohio, Mrs. Harry Botterud of Boston, Mass., Rose New of Chicago, Ill., Sally Sedfors of Arlington, Va. Also 26 grand children and 24 great grand children.

Out of town relatives here for the funeral were Mr. and Mrs. Everett New and daughter, Shirley An, of Chicago, Mrs. Emma Goetz of Cleveland, Ohio, Mrs. John Miller of Sigourney, Iowa, Mr. and Mrs. Herbert Gray of Owen, Mrs. Mollie Clark of Owen, Mr. and Mrs. Lawrence Clark of Owen, Mr. and Mrs. Roy Clark of Owen, and Mr. and Mrs. Ray Schmidt of Milwaukee, Wis., Ray Miller of Milwaukee, Wis., Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Miller of Riplinger, Wis., Mrs. Alvina Miller and daughter of Abbotsford, Wis.
