Salter, Jane #3 (18 Jan. 1889 - 7 Nov. 1944)
Miss Jane Salter, 55, of Unity, who for more than 25 years taught school in Madison, died at 8:30 o’clock Tuesday night at St. Joseph’s Hospital, Marshfield, where she had been a patient since Friday, Nov. 3. She had come home from Madison the day previous.
Miss Salter, who was born Jan. 18, 1889, taught in Milwaukee and Superior before going to Madison. She is survived by her mother, Mrs. Jennie Salter, Unity; four sisters, Mrs. Belle Voght, St. Paul; Mrs. Dorothy Stumph, Cleveland Heights, Ohio; Mrs. Elizabeth Eby, Los Angeles, Calif.; and Mrs. Marion Tschudy of Monroe; and two brothers, Arthur and Ted Salter, both of Unity, Wis.
Funeral arrangements have not yet been made.
