Voss, Anna #2 (15 Sept. 1882 - 7 Dec. 1944)
Mrs. Gust C. Voss of Abbotsford died last Thursday morning at her home at 9:30 o’clock at the age of 62 years, complications of ailments being the cause of her death. She had been in poor health for several years. Funeral services were conducted Sunday afternoon at 2:00 o’clock at the Lulloff Funeral Home, where the body had been lying in state, and at 2:30 o’clock at the Colby Methodist church, Rev. M. B. Ferguson officiating, and internment was made in the Colby cemetery. Pall bearers were Edmund Thede, Alex Thede, Henry Ecke, Art Salter, Ted Salter and George Kelsey. The flowers were in charge of Mrs. Elmer Langjahr and Mrs. Sewell Cook.
Mrs. Voss, the former Anna Hansen, was born in Marshfield on Sept. 15, 1882, and spent her early life there. She was married to Gust Voss at Marshfield on April 13, 1903. After their marriage, Mr. and Mrs. Voss moved to Colby and lived in the vicinity of Colby and Abbotsford since with the exception of three years spent in Southern Wisconsin. Mrs. Voss was a member of the Ladies’ Aid Society and the Royal Neighbors of America.
Surviving are her husband; two children, Edmund of Dorchester and Mrs. Theodore (Mildred) Domer of Unity; four grand children; two brothers, Anton Hansen of Marshfield and James Hansen of Waukesha. One sister, one brother and her parents preceded her in death.
