Mildred M. 'Millie' Lee
CHILI, WIS. -- Mildred M. "Millie" Lee, 94, of Chili died Friday, Dec. 7, 2007, at Marshfield Care Center.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Monday, Dec. 10, 2007, at Immanuel United Methodist Church, Chili. the Rev. Ralph Nagle will officiate and Char Drescher will be pianist for congregational singing. Burial will take place in Immanuel United Methodist Church Cemetery in the town of Fremont, Clark County, and serving as pallbearers will be her nine grandsons, Rusty, Kim, Terry, Douglas, and Scott Lee, and Rick, Thomas, David and Steven Dix. Honorary pallbearers will be Merle Rose, Bruce Hanson and Kent Eibergen.
The visitation will be held from 9:30 a.m. until service time Monday at the church.
Rembs/Kundinger Funeral Home is assisting the family.
Mrs. Lee was born Oct. 18, 1913, in the town of Fremont, Clark County, the daughter of Henry and Ida (Lindow) Nebel. She and Marion J. Lee were united in marriage Sept. 27, 1932, in Chili. He died June 21, 1997. She and her husband had farmed in the town of Fremont.
Mildred was an active member of Immanuel United Methodist Church where she served as a Sunday school teacher, a Vacation Bible School teacher, served on many committees and at the present time was secretary of the United Methodist Women. She also served as the church historian and was a member of the Chili Senior Citizens and had been a 4-H leader for many years. She and her husband enjoyed traveling and spent winters in Mesa, Ariz.
She is survived by a daughter and two sons, Connie (Lawrence) Dix Jr. of Chili, James (Rochelle) Lee of Cadott and Dennis (Diane) Lee of Stratford. She is further survived by 14 grandchildren and 24 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; a grandson, Ross Marion Lee; a daughter-in-law, Betty Lee; and two sisters and three brothers.
